Houses are determined by your birth time.

There are multiple house systems, including Placidus, Koch, Equal, and Whole Sign. Placidus is the most widely used system in Japan.

Differences between systems become noticeable if you were born in a region at high latitude. In places like Northern Europe, the size of houses can vary extremely depending on the system used, leading to very different interpretation results.

When you are first starting out, it is fine to use the standard Placidus system. However, if the interpretation you get does not feel right no matter what, you may find it makes sense if you recalculate your chart using a different system. There is no need to stick to one single system.

For worries about stagnant income, look to the 2nd house; for your position at work, the 10th house; for housing issues, the 4th house; for draining interpersonal relationships, the 7th and 11th houses. Once you determine which house is relevant, look at your birth chart, and you can narrow down which planets to interpret.

Also, even the same "work-related worry" has different meanings depending on whether it falls under the 6th or 10th house. The 6th house covers daily work tasks and health management, while the 10th house covers social roles and achievements.
